'Hurt Locker's' Director Kathryn Bigelow Makes Oscar Night Historical

Kathryn Bigelow made history at last night Oscars by becoming the first woman to win the best director for the film 'Hurt Locker. She was competing in the same category as her ex James Cameron for his direction of the film 'Avatar'. With March being Women's History Month, expect this accomplishment to be shared all month as it was a great night for Kathryn Biegelow and as she said in her acceptance speech, hopefully she won't be the last woman to win such an award. Congrats again Kathy.
'Hurt Locker' Is Night's Big Winner, Earning Six Awards Including Best Picture, Director - Inside Movies
