Talk about disrespectful, A New York billboard that focused exclusively on African-American abortion rates is being taken down after the public response and concerns for public safety. The billboard was erected by group opposed to abortions, but the disrespect comes in a 'genocide' form of a statement and the concentration on African-Americans. The cute girl and her mother, didn't know anything about her image being used for such a disrespectful poster. The ad was suppose to run in the SoHo section of Manhattan for three weeks, but was taken down last night and barely lasted a couple of days. Read more (here).

Last week Buju Banton won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album for Before The Dawn, but earlier today we found out that he is facing life behind bars after being found guilty today on three federal counts involving cocaine. As more info comes out about the Buju Banton situation, lets remember what the word "conspiracy" really means. Conspiracy is a secret agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime or any other unlawful act. Was Buju really conspiring or was he just 'BSing' to play the part? Well that's what he claims. Found a great sum up of Buju's situation on MissInfo's site (here). Below is Buju's "Driver A" video below. Only thing I'm going to say, this is music and entertainment. ST wishes Buju and his family well as he is the father of 15.
The Foreign Exchange dropped a visual for their album title single, Authenticity. Now I will say, that this particular track was not a favorite of mines on the album, but the album itself stays in heavy rotation and is worth every penny I paid for the pre-order. However, this video may have me listening to this track a little different now, as director Matthew Cherry gives this video a theatrical feel. Grab this album if you haven't and trust me when I say, this album will stay in your musical rotation.
The saga continues for Reggae super star Buju Banton as a 12 member Tampa jury found the reggae star guilty on three counts of cocaine related charges. Read more (here).

Williams signed a four-year contract and will replace Rod Broadway, who resigned earlier this month to become the head coach at North Carolina A&T. This go around, Doug Williams will coach his son D.J., who is also a quarterback and signed with Grambling this year. ST wishes Doug Williams much success this second go around as Grambling's Head Football Coach. Also grab Doug Williams book, Quarterback: Shattering the NFL Myth on sale for less than a $1 (here).

Now I'm kind of late with this one, as this Erykah Badu video, "Gone Baby, Don't Be Long" has been out for about a week now. Like any other Badu video, this video also gives the viewer a visual ride into the song. Shouts out to Flying Lotus on the direction of the video. Great work.

Congratulations to these young men, their parents, and of course the staff at their school. The collaborative effort speaks volumes.

The track is called, "Robot Sex" and its the Cee-Lo Green that we've come to enjoy as an artist. Give it a listen.
Lupe did an interview on Tim Westwood's BBC radio radio show and during the interview, he took some bars to Kanye and Jay Z's H.A.M. track for a freestyle. If you're a person who loves lyrics, then give this a listen. Lupe is always good for a freestyle.
Ryan Leslie premiered his song, "Maybachs and Diamonds" at Club Love in DC recently. The track from this cut was suppose to be for Rick Ross however, Rick never used it, so Ryan used it for himself. Give it a listen, this song is pretty good and it is probably a blessing in disguise since that it wasn't used by Ricky Rozay.
