Alabama Teen Denied to Play for School's Basketball Team Due to His Braids

Are you serious? If this is a public school (which it is), then why should choice of hairstyle matter? Blaise Taylor, has not been allowed to play for his JV basketball team, because of his choice of hairstyle. A racial discrimination lawsuit filed by the family of Auburn University's assistant football coach Trooper Taylor on behalf of his son, is expected to go to court 12/21 in Montgomery. ST will keep you posted of these events.
