The Brooklyn born singer, actress, and model Aaliyah
was born on this day back in 1979. This was a songstress that we lost way too early as this talented individual had so much more to give. Her life ended after a plane crash back in 2001. Aaliyah left behind a style and a brand of music that is all her own. She was truly an angel and will surely be missed. This was always one of my favorite Aaliyah cuts. Her last video, ROCK THE BOAT. R.I.P. Aaliyah.
