Adultery Still Crime in NH After 200 Years - ABC News


With Tiger Woods and adultery being in the news so much recently, the state of New Hampshire is looking at taking the crime of adultery off of the books. The original punishments - including standing on the gallows for an hour with a noose around the neck - have been softened to a $1,200 fine, yet some lawmakers think it's time for the 200-year-old crime of adultery to come off New Hampshire's books.
