Holding back his tears, the 77 year-old Larry King ended his 25 year run as CNN's prime-time face last night. His shows capture the feelings many of us wanted to know. Deep interviews and conversations from this intellect will be missed.
"I don't know what to say, except, to you, my audience, thank you", King said, staring into the camera. "instead of goodbye, how about so long."
And with that, the set of "Larry King Live" went dark with the exception of his iconic microphone in the spotlight. Moments later, Anderson Cooper said, "A remarkable moment, a remarkable man, who just signed off the air." Revisit 25 years of Larry King (here).
