Rhianna just took a shot from Donald Trump for missing a booked performance which I totally understand, because that's business. However, I'm a little confused about the Minister Louis Farrakhan be VERY judgmental about Rhianna's Grammy's performance. The Minister called Rhianna's music "filthy" and went so far as to call her fans "swine".

He also criticized the sexually charged performances of pop star Rihanna, saying they were “filthy” and that people who enjoyed such antics were “swine,” a description he also applied to homosexuals and lesbians. He also criticized immigrant Muslims in the Chicago area for moving to white suburbs and being patronizing toward Black Muslims.
No worries, Rihanna responded by way of Twitter:
Let me say this, some people regardless of their religious beliefs, open their mouths in the public when they should keep it shut. This is for both The Minister and Rhianna. The Minister comments are his opinions and is in no way meant to shape our views about Rhianna. ST personally enjoyed this young woman's performance and does not consider myself "swine", but out of respect for The Minister and The Nation of Islam, we'll keep our comments to ourselves. Something young Rhianna should have done and not go Twitter to retaliate. Not comment would have gone further, than these Twitter comments, but I like your Gansta Ri, LoL!

It's all a publicity stunt! I can think of way more controversial/sexual things than Rihanna's performance the Minister could have mentioned. I love the Minister, but come on! And, I agree with you ST! As a celebrity, there is no need to comment/retaliate against everything little thing. However, it's all strategic because it enhances people's attention and more people will start following....the game of capitalism at its finest. Black Rage
right wrong or whatever she is doing herself no good portraying in-depth sexual characteristics she will see in the long run
Greg, she is an adult. She is embracing her sexuality. She is not a child. And she does this with style. Too many people forget how they were when they were 21, 22, 23, 24. You didn't know it all. Its not like she's out here on a pole. She is living her dream and making an honest living. STOP THIS BLACK ON BLACK stuff PLEASE!! WE HAVE OTHER ISSUES TO TALK ABOUT WITH BIGGER CONCERNS.
I will say this. Rihanna is respected and looked up to by beautiful growing young women black, white, latino, asian, indian, african, jamaican, etc. She should respect that a little, and should take a little more responsibility for that. Her new vibe of music to me is a little over the top and should not be played on the radio. She should also be able to take those jabs as her music has no place in the growth maturity of young females. But who am I or the minister to judge. Teachings start at home first.
These look up too women role models suck, the men do too. This "do you" mentality is such and excuse for people not to take responsibility for anything at all. The majority of this new music is not instrumental to or relevant to nothing that is going on today PERIOD! My opinion only
