Justin Timberlake to Receive a NAACP Image Award?

Now I don't know how you may feel about this, but I DON'T LIKE IT!!! Justin Timberlake has been nominated for a NAACP Image Award for his supporting role in The Social Network. Do we congratulate? I'm confused. The NAACP describe their "IMAGE" award as-"honor accomplishments of people of color in the fields of television, music, literature, and film." I'm upset, but I'm not surprised. After all, they did give an "IMAGE" award to R. Kelly at the height of his, "it wasn't me episode". Now this doesn't mean I don't like Justin Timberlake because I do cut for the dude, but The Social Network wasn't produced or created by a black film maker and Justin is not a person of color, hence my confusion.
