UCONN Rescinds Offer of The 13-Year-Old Bronx Academic Phenom

ST informed you about the 13-year-old academic phenom Autum Ashante getting accepted and planning on attending University of Connecticut this fall (here). However, things changed since then as The University of Connecticut has rescinded on their offer of acceptance. Her father said the university has insulted his family and the hard work that they put into Autum attending UCONN. Mr. Ashante also stated his daughter will explore other academic options as he is not happy with how his daughter was treated by the university. Autum is a smart girl who seems to come from a good family, so I'm sure her and her family will make a wise choice for Autum's future. Read more (here).
