Ron Artest Is Expected to Officially Change His Name to "Metta World Peace" Today

Ron Artest said this summer he was thinking about changing his name and after putting some thought to it, the Queensbridge representative will make it official today during a press conference. The ball player formerly know as ARTEST, will change his name to 'Metta World Peace'. 'Metta' is his official first name, which in Buddhist tradition means-loving-kindness and friendliness toward others and his last name will be 'World Peace'. You can't make this stuff up folks.
