ST's-Black History Moment-A Dream Deferred

This is one of the first poems I ever learned. From this poem I learned to, "Dream a Life, then live a Dream". A DREAM energizes the imagination and as Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge". I remember when I first saw this commercial and I thought-CLASSIC.

Dream Deferred

What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
Like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
