NYC Won't Settle with 5 Wrongfully Convicted Young Men of The Central Park Jogger Case

Tomorrow marks 22 years since what New York City knows as the Central Park Jogger Case. The case where a young, white woman was brutally raped, beaten, and left for dead in Central Park. The woman survived and recovered for her injuries, but the five young Black and Hispanic teenagers who were wrongly convicted in her attack are still waiting on their justice. After 13 years, a serial rapist and murderer confessed that he alone committed the crime and DNA evidence confirmed his story. Damages have yet to be paid. Read more (here).
